Essex Manor needs no introduction. Set within a mature, secluded venue in South Ockendon, Essex, this is a truly exceptional carp fishing destination and one of the most impressive big-fish syndicates in the UK.

The lake contains a carefully managed stock of approximately 75 carp, but what makes Essex Manor so special is the sheer quality of those fish. The venue boasts an incredible 25 carp over 40lb and around 40 fish over 30lb, meaning a remarkable proportion of the stock comprises genuine UK big-carp.

With a lake record of 50lb, every session carries the possibility of a truly memorable capture. The combination of an outstanding stock, a mature setting and a secluded atmosphere makes Essex Manor a venue for anglers who are serious about targeting large carp.

Rated as hard, the lake is certainly not a venue where big fish come easily. The relatively low stock means anglers need to put the time in, understand the water and make the most of every opportunity. However, that challenge is exactly what makes the rewards so worthwhile.
